REMINDERS
The arena will be open from noon to 4pm for Open Riding.
Western attire is required for the qualifier.
Social, Dinner and Payouts to immediately follow the qualifier in Rink 1 at the Cariboo Memorial Complex.
Entries for those advancing to the rodeo will also be due at that time.

Open – $40+ $15 arena fee (add $20 if you would like a dinner ticket)
Juniors – $30+ $10 arena fee (add $10 if you would like dinner ticket)
Peewees – $20 + $10 arena fee (add $10 if you would like dinner ticket)
You can enter on multiple horses, but only one will advance.

FORMAT
Top twenty Open Barrels will be Round 1 will be split over Friday/ Saturday (one run per rider – order of go to be announced following qualifier) , Top Ten advance to Sunday Final Round 2
Top 10 Final round qualifiers and Average winners will be determined by lowest time for Open Barrels.
Top 10 Jr and PW Barrels will be Round 1 will be split over Friday/Saturday (one run per rider) Top 5 will advance to Sunday.
If the time and score feature does not fill the Final round , the committee and officials will fill it.
- Ladies and Jr Barrels are run in only
- Closed gate for Peewee barrels
- No lead line Peewee barrel racers
- Peewee’s can be lead to the plane of the gate
- Rake every 5 on the ground.

Canadian Wild Horse Racing Association (CWHRA) rules apply
The horse is to be equipped in the chutes with a CWHRA approved saddle, (no saddle horn, no stirrups, and a sheepskin bottom between the saddle and horse for the horses protection), a halter (the halter may have added handles as long as they pose no risk to the horse), and a shank rope. The shank rope must be of cotton or twine construction and be minimum 3/4” in diameter and be no longer than 16’ from halter to end of the shank.
